Zwischen Anziehung und Abwehr.
touch me not ist eine Arbeit über das Unsichtbare zwischen den Dingen und über die Spannung, die entsteht, wenn Nähe und Distanz zugleich spürbar werden. Auf den ersten Blick wirken die Formen organisch, fast vertraut. Doch beim zweiten Hinsehen beginnen sie, sich zu entziehen.
Die Bilder vereinen analoge und digitale Verfahren: Fotografien von Luft und Farbe treffen auf digital generierte Strukturen, die in einem vielschichtigen Prozess neu zusammengesetzt werden. Aus dieser Kombination entsteht eine Bildwelt, die sich nicht eindeutig greifen lässt. Sie ist etwas, das zugleich real und künstlich, lebendig und fremd erscheint.
Entscheidend ist nicht, was dargestellt ist, sondern was es im Betrachter auslöst: Anziehung, Irritation, vielleicht auch Ablehnung. touch me not fordert heraus, genauer hinzusehen und sich mit der eigenen Wahrnehmung von Schönheit, Körperlichkeit und Grenze auseinanderzusetzen.
Between attraction and resistance.
touch me not is a work about the invisible that exists between things – and about the tension that arises when proximity and distance are felt at the same time. At first glance, the forms appear organic, almost familiar. But on closer inspection, they begin to withdraw.
The images combine analogue and digital techniques: photographs of air and color meet digitally generated structures, reassembled through a multilayered process. From this combination emerges a visual world that cannot be clearly grasped – something that appears both real and artificial, alive and alien.
What matters is not what is depicted, but what it evokes in the viewer: attraction, irritation, perhaps even rejection. touch me not invites a closer look and a confrontation with one’s own perception of beauty, corporeality, and boundary.

Innen: ein leeres Blatt Papier. / Außen: kein Absender, kein Text, nur ein Wort, dort, wo sonst eine Briefmarke klebt: SAVE. Dieses Kunstprojekt setzt auf Irritation. Es will etwas anstoßen, ohne zu erklären. Jede Reaktion, jeder Gedanke, jede Antwort ist wertvoller als Schweigen. Kommunikation ist besser als keine Kommunikation.

Ein Moment, der bleibt.
solo:proiezione ist eine Arbeit über das Zeigen selbst. Darüber, wie sehr der Rahmen bestimmt, ob etwas Bedeutung bekommt. Eine Projektion ist nie nur Licht auf einer Fläche. Sie ist ein gemeinsamer Moment: flüchtig und doch verbindend, technisch und zugleich zutiefst menschlich.
Mich interessiert, was passiert, wenn wir den Akt des Konsumierens wieder verlangsamen, ihm Raum und Aufmerksamkeit geben. Früher waren Projektionen Rituale, ob im Klassenzimmer, im Wohnzimmer oder im Urlaub. Heute scrollen wir durch Bilder, ohne sie wirklich zu sehen. solo:proiezione stellt dieser Geschwindigkeit einen bewussten Moment des Betrachtens entgegen.
Die Arbeiten zeigen Bilder von Licht, das von einem Projektor auf eine Wand geworfen wurde. Doch im Zentrum steht nicht das Motiv, sondern das, was im Betrachter geschieht: die Erinnerung an eigene Räume, an vergangene Situationen, in denen Projektionen Teil des Alltags waren. solo:proiezione lädt dazu ein, die Wertigkeit solcher Momente wiederzuerkennen und zu spüren, wie stark der Rahmen eines Erlebnisses bestimmt, was davon bleibt.
A moment that remains.
solo:proiezione is a work about the act of showing itself – about how much the frame determines whether something gains meaning. A projection is never just light on a surface. It is a shared moment: fleeting yet connecting, technical and at the same time deeply human.
I am interested in what happens when we slow down the act of consuming, giving it space and attention. In the past, projections were rituals – in classrooms, in living rooms, on family holidays. Today, we scroll through images without truly seeing them. solo:proiezione opposes this speed with a deliberate moment of contemplation.
The works show images of light cast by a projector onto a wall. Yet the focus is not on the motif itself, but on what happens within the viewer: the memory of personal spaces, of past situations in which projections were part of everyday life. solo:proiezione invites us to rediscover the value of such moments and to sense how strongly the frame of an experience defines what remains.

Die Ausstellung solo:proiezione wurde 2024 in Monte Porzio (Italien) gezeigt – als Teil des offiziellen Kulturprogramms der Stadt Pesaro, die in diesem Jahr Italiens Kulturhauptstadt war. Mit dieser Arbeit rückte Sascha Venturi die Projektion selbst ins Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit: als Medium zwischen Licht und Erinnerung, als flüchtigen Moment, der im Kopf des Betrachters weiterlebt.
The exhibition solo:proiezione was presented in 2024 in Monte Porzio (Italy) as part of the official cultural program of the city of Pesaro, which was Italy’s Capital of Culture that year. With this work, Sascha Venturi placed the act of projection itself at the center of attention – as a medium between light and memory, a fleeting moment that continues to exist in the viewer’s mind.
